Located on beautiful Goat Island, the Hyatt Newport hotel is a 15-minute stroll from the city’s cobblestone streets, bustling harbor, unique shopping, art galleries, and waterfront dining. Hop on the shuttle to Bowen’s Wharf in Downtown Newport, or take in the sights of Bellevue Avenue, home of the famous mansions and museums that Newport is known for. If you’re visiting in the summer, you’ll find countless festivals and events, including the famous Newport Folk Festival and Newport Jazz Festival in Fort Adams.
Innovative Construction built and assisted in designing one of the most unique outdoor/pool side bar and grilles in the area. The intent was to build a structure that appeared to be timeless but had also been in existence for years, and would withstand the weather associated with Coastal New England. The cladding is 1" thick, 150 year old barn siding, reclaimed from a Maine barn. The roofing is a manufactured metal that appears to be aged shingles. The foundation and hurricane/storm vents are designed and built to withstand any weather that could come its way. Infrastructure is state of the art with a completed kitchen and bar. We also completed major interior renovations on the Hyatt Resort including FF&E, electrical, plumbing and completed them ahead of schedule.
